Saison humide qu'ils disent?? Plus comme saison de déluge.

He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich

For those of you still wondering if 80’s band Men at Work’s hit single “Land down under” actually played on the radio waves in Australia, the answer is yes, ALL THE TIME.

The Captain has landed!

Bravo.

One Month!

We've just come into our second month in the Southern Hemisphere. We've headed into Queensland and lost one hour on our watches in the process. Getting closer to the equator means shorter days, more heat and as we've just recently learned, deadly jellyfishes. Great... ANOTHER thing that can potentially kill us around here. Just perfect.

The Blue Mountains

After attending a show called “Australian’s most dangerous”, we are quite surprised to inform you that even though there are more species of venomous snakes and spiders than non-venomous, the most common animal related deaths down under are caused by horses and honey bees… And we have all of those back home. So no worries mate!
