One Month!

We've just come into our second month in the Southern Hemisphere. We've headed into Queensland and lost one hour on our watches in the process. Getting closer to the equator means shorter days, more heat and as we've just recently learned, deadly jellyfishes. Great... ANOTHER thing that can potentially kill us around here. Just perfect.

La côte

Sur notre route vers le Nord, le paysage change. Ça commence à drôlement ressembler à l’Australie telle qu’on l’imagine. Il fait sec, tout commence à être teinté de rouges, les maisons se font plus petites, plates et de plus en plus espacées. Les haltes routières ne sont plus que de simples stationnements de terre ne pouvant fournir en eau que ce que la citerne a pu ramasser durant la dernière pluie.

The Blue Mountains

After attending a show called “Australian’s most dangerous”, we are quite surprised to inform you that even though there are more species of venomous snakes and spiders than non-venomous, the most common animal related deaths down under are caused by horses and honey bees… And we have all of those back home. So no worries mate!

Sydney
