In the rainforest, there are these little ants with a green back that make their nests by sticking leaves into a ball shape directly in the trees. If you lick those ants, they taste exactly like lime. They don’t like to be licked though. They’ll try to bite you.

Whitehaven Beach
Le sable de Whitehaven Beach, dans les Whitsundays consiste à 98 % de pure silice. Il fut utilisé dans la fabrication de la lentille du télescope Hubble (deux fois, ils ont brisé le premier). Durant une tempête il y a quelques années, un éclair à frappé directement la plage, laissant au lieu d'impact, un parfait disque de verre.

Van-Terrible
To answer the question that EVERYONE has been asking us for the past week, NO, we did not win the VanTastic contest for the Northern Territory. I know... I'm sorry. BUT, Western Australia is still up for grabs! We'll know early March! Keep your fingers crossed for the next 4 weeks! CONSTANTLY.
