Almost Van-Tastic

Nous venons tous juste d'apprendre que le Capitaine James Cook, mon héro de haute mer préféré, aurait été l'auteur des premières cartes maritimes du St-Laurent. Ces cartes, d'une telle exactitude qu'elles auraient été utilisées plus de cent ans après sa mort, auraient contribué à la victoire Britannique sur les plaines d'Abraham. Boooooouuuu!

Happy 2010 !

Since we've arrived in Australia, many people have asked us: "Which direction do the toilets flush over there?". The funny answer is, we don't know. Since this is the dryest continent in the world (after Antarctica), they all have these water friendly toilets everywhere. And the way they operate, they just flush DOWN. No circular motion. Sorry.
