Since we've arrived in Australia, many people have asked us: "Which direction do the toilets flush over there?". The funny answer is, we don't know. Since this is the dryest continent in the world (after Antarctica), they all have these water friendly toilets everywhere. And the way they operate, they just flush DOWN. No circular motion. Sorry.
